Pastor Sun Ho

I was touched when I was in Expo- S'pore for the Asia Conference 2008. It was organised by City Harvest Church. I was impressed for this event. It was far more better than normal conference. When they played Sun Ho (www.heyaosun.com) on her charity works. Tear drops was falling down my check. And of course i tried to hide..hahahha.. She is really blessed by God. Her humanitarian works has show to other parts of the world that right now, in the world, what we are lacking of is 'LOVE'. There is a moment shown whereby she hug a kid in a China was indeed very touching. I pray that I can be like her to care and love the people around me. I pray that Lord will always touch and care for the lost one.

5 more days to go...

5 more days and i will be back to Malaysia. I was thinking what hv i done in NZ? Is not that much and not that less either? What is my purpose for his trip? Do i wanna get more exposure or i wanna find a clear idea what i wanna do in my life perhaps?

Things changed. I don't think i will be having the same mindset when i'm back tp M'sia. I still remember a statement given by my ex-manager, 'Life is short and dick is long'. First of all, please don't get any offence for the statement. What i've learnt from it is enjoy our life and do whatever we want as long we are alive. We won't know till when we are going to be in this world. So please don't forget this statement..hahhaa

ENJOY LIFE...

Holy Day...

Um.. now i'm not going to post anymore in my New Zealand backpacking's blog. I will just continue from my initial blog which is this one...hehe...yesterday i went to a charismatic church in Christchurch. It is near to Pak 'n' Save. It was a great because i have not been to church for quite some time. Eevnthought i've been to several churches accross New Zealand such as Nelson, Te Puke and..opps.i can't think of now..haha.. I prefer the one in Christchurch. However, I still prefer the one back in Malaysia www.nghc.org.my It is a chinese church but the pastor speaks biligual (english and mandarin). The most importance is the fire in every church's members. Now i truly understand the importantance to have a real great discipline..haha Bless you brothers and sisters in da church.. Hopefully when i'm back to KL one day, i will join the FIRE !!!

After the church service, I went to a secret place in Christchurch ...'cheng'..'cheng'....'cheng'......It is called 'GETHESEMANE GARDEN'. This garden is located at 27, Revelation Drive (top of Clifton Terrace), Sumner, Christchurch. This garden is taking care by one Kiwi couple (Beu and Ken). There is a large ark to resemble the Noah Ark (it is a quater size of the real Noah Ark). In the ark, there is 3 levels. 1st level is a church. they have service every 1st week of Sunday in a month. 2nd level- dining area and 3rd level is ballroom. It is mainly use for the wedding. However, it is not allowed to snap any picture in the ark itself. Besides, there is a large garden as well. One of the best section is, there are verses form by using plants. The plants are trim to form a verse from the Bible (God's Word). It is really marvellous. It is indeed a MUST VISIT place in Christchurch... Even thought it is not listed in any travellers book or also not listed in the I-Site (information centre) but i hope it will be great if more and more people visit this beautiful place. As from my friend opinion, this garden - Gethsemane Gardens is more beautiful than Hamilton Garden.

I Want to Sing - CHC

Long time i didn't update this blog, mainly because i'm updating my backpacking's blog... anyhow, i will transfer all the info to this blog in near future. Now i'm in Christchurch, New Zealand library. While i was browsing internet, my heart just wanna search for Pastor Sun's information. I was so touched by Sun Ho. She is a pastor and currently she is doing big in US. Whenever she made a statement, I just loved it.. Some sort of feeling which is soothing me.
This is one of my favourite song- I Want to Sing by City Harvest Church http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9IV8bS80ZQ&feature=related. Is marvellous!! Praise God, i got to know YOU as my LORD..

Jesus is wonderful...

Singapore Policy

Long time didnt update my blog and i am lazy to update. Today one of my buddy already went back to Malaysia. However he faced some difficulties. His passport is expired on December. However, the ticketing person incharge do not issuing the ticket back to Singapore (as we bought a return ticket depart from Singapore). The main reason is because Singapore have this policy stated that a person could not enter Singapore if his passport is less than 6 month period. OMG...it is ridiculous! So what the person can do is just issue the flight ticket to Australia (the origin place where he have to transit), then he gotta check out and ask another ticket from the flight operator which i doubt they will issue as all of us know Aus. is a very strict especially towards Asian (hehehe, purely my opinion). As we are being told, any company who break this policy, the company gotta pay NZD5000 for the offence. So i think my friend gotta purchase another ticket. And he don't have much cash now...

So one month later, i will be going back to Malaysia. I can't wait for this moment..hahhaa
And just to update my current situation, I'm working in a chocolate factory in Christchurch. It's a small fatcory but wonderful people. NO preassure, NO hard work, NOT many workers...hahaha...So i hope i can work here till i left...

My friends, wait for me in Singapore and Malaysia, ya.....

Car Broke Down In Cheviot

160909-1030pm

Our car broke down and we stayed in a motel because there isn't any backpackers around. We are stucked in the small town- Cheviot. This motel is nice and big. There are 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room with tv. It gives me a very nice and relaxing feeling. Due to this incident, I gotta packed my stuffs. I gotta throw away the unwanted stuffs. Now i'm exactly like a backpacker with only 2 bags. Hehe..hopefully there's a job for me in Christchurch. Praise God!!

Abel Tasman

150908-1040am

Finally i'm in Abel Tasman. A place which is not my main priority. Hence, it's beautiful and magnifiecient. The fog covers the mountains in the morning. As the sun rise now, it is slowly move and vanished (fog). Here is quiet and not many houses. Only a couple of it. The water of the sea is clear. While i'm sitting on a bench, birds flying towards me. Maybe they thought i have food for them. The creation of God is so wonderful! When the sun shines onto the sea, the reflection makes it into a sparkling diamond. And the birds are still expectingg food from me..The birds get near to me, only a feet away. Cars starting to driving into the town, one at each time. And later i'm going to take a boat to the centre of Abel Tasman. It costs me NZD48 (return). I will need to walk for 2 hours and then, they will drive us back to the initial venue where we departed. Now I'm just couldn't wait for the wonders work of God..

Franz Josef

A bit tired today as i went to Franz Josef. More info can be found here. www.franzjosefglacier.com I've paid NZD140 for the all day trip. It was worth it as all things are included ; shoes, socks, jackt and etc. Nice view. The whole place is covered by ice formed in hundreds years. It was unexpected because at first, i was thinking it will be the same as Tongariro Crossing; the level of tiredness. However, it was a bit easy and relax.

So tomorrow we will depart from here to don't know what place... I will try to post tomorrow then..

Couch Surfing...

I've try another couchsurfing. I've stayed in Sarsha's house in Wellington for 2 days. I am the first surfer for stay at her house. She is a bit 'blur'because she doesn't know what she gotta do. Her family members were very friendly and they cooked us a dinner. I've just love it... and we cooked for them as well...Then in Suddon for a day (yesterday). We've stayed in Angie's house. She is used to become a host. She is friendly too and i've learnt a lot from her hubby. we chat about his job. He's really professional in his work. And now (today) in Craig's house. We only informed Craig at 3pm that we need a place to stay and he already replied us and now i'm in his house. Wonderful guy! He's singer in Christchurch. He trust us. He just left the house with us and he went out.Tomorrow, probably i'm going to watch his performance in a pub.

Another special thing.....tomorrow, we are going to ski in Mt. Hutt. Besides tomorrow is also Winston's birthday!!! We are going to make him to treat us a dinner...I'm just happy for that..kakkakaka....

3rd days leaving Te Puke

I stayed in Rotorua for 2 days since Monday. This is my 2nd time staying in a Couch Surfing's member. I've stayed in Lorraine's house, Rotorua this time. She and her husband were friendly. Her house is fascinating. Well, i was so surprised that her trust on me is so great. She gave us their house key and there was no one in the house at all. I don't think it will happened in Malaysia.
Lorraine's Living Room

Night Scene at Lorraine's House

She has 2 cats, 3 horses, 5 hens, cattles and i don't know...hahaha... but i do know that one of the horse is called Zack. He was not afraid of people.

Zack- the horse

I went to quite some place in Rotorua. Hell's Gate was the first one. However i didn't enter as the fees was a bit too expensive; NZD70 for mud spa and thermal spa. Anyway, i did took some pictures.

Instead of Hell's, i went to Polynesian Spa. It is one of the top 10 spa. Nothing much special except it was smelly (sulphur) and hot. Opps, it was indeed special..hahhaa

Then, i head up to take a ride on the cable car. I've played 'The Luge'. It was great. I like it very much. However, my suggestion is book your package in I-Site. It was cheaper compare to the original ticket booth.

At night, my buddies and me cooked a heavy meal for my host- Lorraine and John.

Wai-O-Tapu

And now, i am at Taupo. I did nothing today. Just a lay day for me. Tomorrow morning gotta go to National Park. A day after tomorrow i'm going to skiing.
