While I was surfing the internet, suddenly I thought of Couchsurfing. This is a wonderful site whereby the travellers can save lots of money by staying at the host's house. Thinking bout this site, soon, I am eager to travel but this time around, I wanna be a backpacker. I will like to be in the casual mode- slippers, shorts, a pair of sunglasses. Wow, isn't great to relax? But this is all my dream. Back to reality, I need 'cash' to survive.

Paragon, Great World City win SRA Shopping Centre Awards
Paragon got the award for "outstanding efforts in advertising and promotions" while Great World City clinched its award for "outstanding efforts in centre management".
Six Singapore retailers also received SRA Awards for the impact they have on the retail scene through innovation, creativity and retail excellence.
Best Retail Concept of the Year went to Malmaison by The Hour Glass, while Best New Entrant of the Year went to candy shop Candylicious at Resorts World Sentosa.
The FairPrice Family Cook Off by NTUC FairPrice clinched Best Retail Event of the Year. Green Retailer of the Year went to Dairy Farm Singapore.
The SRA also gave out awards to individuals. The Manager of the Year award went to Cold Storage's marketing communications manager, Jassie Ling. The Young Executive of the Year was Serene Tan, executive (branch) of FairPrice Finest @ Clementi.
Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, said that the award winners had added new and exciting dimensions to the retail landscape by evolving their businesses and sector.
"The retail sector contributes significantly to tourism spending, with the sector alone registering some S$26 billion in operating receipts in 2009," he said.
"Retailers are encouraged to explore new tools and learn from others on how to boost productivity in your business," he added.

I saw a woman hitting either her brother or her son. Ridiculous! N the best part was a baby who is around 2 years old followed the woman's act. The baby hit the young boy just like the woman. A New Vision or My Own Imagination
Yesterday, again, I slept at dawn. When I wanna log off my FB, I noticed it was already 4.30am.
I was coming out with a plan. I kept on having ideas on a project. It is new for Johorean but perhaps might have it at other countries.

Testimony
I've got cellgroup today and I'm going to share my life testimony to my brothers and sisters. And i just finished writing my script,in case I forgot everything when I am on the stage.
Praise God, through Holy Spirit, i have written about 1.5 pages. My testimony is a simple one. Nothing much up and down thingy. But while i am reading it, i found tht it's all above LOVE!
The love that we are eager for, the LOVE that most of the people are looking and searching for. Without love, we are nothing. With LOVE, we found peace, we found everything.
Only through HIM- Jesus, we can have eternal love. No one can provides such a great love except Him. Praise God!
As stated in the bible, 1 John 4:10- We love because He first loved us.

Are non Muslim Malaysian considered as Real Malaysian?
I bet I'm not the only one who have raised this question? Are the races except Malay Muslim considered as Malaysian. How do we define it? Is it define only by the titled 'malaysian' in our id card or passport? Or perhaps by the right as a Malaysian citizen? I strongly believed, no matter how strong is the 1Malaysia's campaign , if the roots of the problem still can't be solve, it is a waste of time and our citizens contribution (income tax). It's because the campaign is merely a 'show' for the investors or it has political agenda. For us as lower and middle income earners in Malaysia, we need SECURITY. Security in terms of safety, financial, education and career. Are we really secure living in Malaysia? I bet you'll know the answer yourself.

I just back from CHC, Singapore. Ps. Kong gave a great sermon. Below are the notes given by CHC, Singapore.
How do we know whether our God is poor or rich? Many people must be pondering for this question. But today, through God's grace, we know that our God is RICH!!!
The title: Rich God? Poor God?
Below are the answers:
a) Jesus was showered with great threasure as a baby- Luke 8:1-3
b) Jesus had many wealthy partners supporting Him- Luke 9:1
c)Jesus was able to pay for His entire ministry team. Luke 9:51-52 and Luke 22:35
d) Jesus generously fed the hungry- Luke 9:11
e) Jesus had a treasurer- John 12:6
f) Jesus never considered Himself poor- John 12:1-6
g) Jesus cared for the poor and regularly gave to them - John 13: 27-29
h) Jesus had His own house- John 1:37-39
i) Jesus wore good clothes- John 13-23-24
REAL PROESPERITY IS HAVING THE FINANCIAL ABUNDANCE TO OBEY GOD'S WILL WHENEVER HE WANTS YOU TO, HOWEVER HE WANTS YOU TO.

Johor Bahru, a land belongs to Almighty
A new journey of my life is to impact children on this land; Johor Bahru. I believed God has a plan for me to be here. By God's grace, people in this land will changed. A new generation of this land is to be different from the past generations. From 5-10 years from now, this land will have a group of people who have hope, peace and love from the Almighty. These are the people that will impacting the whole generation.
The people in Johor Bahru, an impact forces is coming to anoint this land. The young ones will exalt like an eagle.

How to control a kid?
Nowadays children are getting more difficult to teach and to guide. What's happening to them? Is it because they are expose to our current environment, perhaps children are too clever or parents are giving them too much of freedom to express their feeling. Do we need to use a rod while teaching them? On my point of view, sometimes to certain extent, when children get to naughty or rebellious, we need to use rod. This is to let them know the consequences of doing a bad action. What do you think?
I'm listening to chinese gospel songs now. Indeed, i can feel the love from God who want us to receive from Him. Our God teaches us how to live in this world. We live not by bread alone. We needs Words of God to enlighten us. Sometimes we may feel despair, hopeless and no objective in life. But in God, everything is possible. We believed Him who promised to bless us abundance life, a new person, wisdom, knowledge, have a greater heart that contains love. Where to find a God that loves us so much? No where but here. He is Immanuel. He is always with us. I truely believed that God care and love everyone of us here. He can change a very bad person to become better, unright person. Men supposed are to be good, to regain back our relationship with our God. He understand us.. Let us by Faith confess that Jesus is our Lord, our Saviour that died for our sins and shame yet He arose and stand on right handside next to our Father in Heaven. We are cleansed and through Him, we are reborn! Amen

Brideman
Today i just realised that my cousin wedding is on this coming Sunday and I gotta work.. i forget to apply leave... what should i do? Maybe just attend the wedding reception. But my cousin just called me to ask me to be his brideman. Um....dilemma..hahahhaaha
Awake
I am still awake even though it is already 3am. I was just finished reading Galatians. My next chapter will be Ephesians. I hope this will go on and on till I finish one whole book. It has been years for me to finish it. Later today I need to wake up early because need to go to office to finish my personal stuff.
Actually this morning I went to listen to Ps Kong sermon in Skudai Harvest. Ps. Kong is a great man of God. He delivered such a great sermon and I personally think this sermon of his really useful especially for us as a Christian.
‘Loyalty’- Are we a Kisser or a Cleaver?
Do we have loyalty towards church, family, our love one, family members, children, our job and most importantly, our GOD? We are living in such a worldly environment whereby sometimes, when we step out from the church, we are back to our ‘old man’.
I’ve read this in Galatians 5:16-26
16 So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict. 18 But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit, you are no longer subject to the law.
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, 20 idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law.
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.

After all these months
I was absent during these few months and it is already December. This is what i've thought earlier. What have i done for this one whole year? Am i leading a meaningful life? Is my life an example to others? Um..indeed it 'may' but not that impact.
From today onwards i really gotta pray more often as there's mystery of praying. I wanna find out and experience the power of prayer...hehe..
Currently, i am working in an English Language Centre in JB, but my English is still poor. Hopefully I could brush up my English.
Tomorrow is already Friday and this coming Monday, i gotta go to KL (Putrajaya). There is one student who needs to apply for student visa. Um...it will be a tiring day.
Anyone who read this, please pray for me so that i will have energy on that day. I will need to drive almost 6 hours (back & forth) .
Um... i wanna go back home now...

Tomorrow is already Friday and this coming Monday, i gotta go to KL (Putrajaya). There is one student who needs to apply for student visa. Um...it will be a tiring day.
Anyone who read this, please pray for me so that i will have energy on that day. I will need to drive almost 6 hours (back & forth) .

H1N1, pandemic or lacks of prevention in Malaysia?
According to WHO, 20%-30% Malaysian will be infected to H1N1. This pandemic will last for a year. I wonder what is our next step to curb this pandemic? As for my concern, when H1N1 starting to spread around the world, 'Malaysian' always have this funny mindset that this pandemic will not spread into Malaysia. And the funniest part is while many countries are taking their prevention to stop this pandemic spreading into their country few months ago, but i hardly see any in Johor Bahru Custom. In Singapore, they checked thoroughly every each person that enter into Singapore. But in Johor Bahru (Malaysia) counterpart, NONE of the checking is done. Are we lacks of medical rep. or we're thinking that once Singapore has done the checking, then it will be fine/safe? Anyway, Singapore is always perceives as the efficient or perhaps 'kisau' mentality. It doesn't matter what mentality they have, as long right now the pandemic is controlled. Hence, in Malaysia, it has become worse. Right now, what 'Malaysian' need is not 'advertising' reflecting/ promoting on our credibility but it is the time for 'Malaysian' to ACT on it. We really have to act fast or else 20%-30% will really be wipe off. Think about of our next kin safety!!! This is the time to show Malaysia REALLY Boleh!

Car's Tyre Punctured
Alamak... an hour ago my car's tyre punctured. My mum was in my car. Luckily, i called my friend and he came with another friend of his to help me to change the tyre. Hehe, my friend also dunno how to change..wuahaha..i know the steps of changing car tyre but i dont have the energy to open the nut. I was jumping and jumping but still couldn't loosen the nut. Anyway, now im safe and sound. huhu....tomorrow gotta go to tyre shop. $$$$ fly away...

Q: You have a stern look and are perceived to be arrogant. How would you describe yourself?
A: I cannot say anything if people judge me by my serious look. But those who know me would know that I am approachable and friendly although I have held a high position before (Kelantan Selatan Development Authority project monitoring division director). In fact, people can approach me anywhere and anytime, there is no protocol. I will answer phone calls even if at midnight.
Q: What do you do during your free time?
A: I meet up with my friends or go to places where I can meet people, usually Umno members.
Q: Who is your idol?
A: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad because I grew up during his tenure as the fourth prime minister. I admire his capability and the development he brought to the country. I have been to a lot of places and the first thing people would mention when they hear about Malaysia is Dr Mahathir.
Q: Is it true that the Manik Urai folk do not read newspapers? How are you going to educate them, especially on information technology?
A: This is something that we need to address, especially to the youngsters. We need a personal touch and direct approach when dealing with them, and we cannot be too pushy.
Newspapers are hard to get here so the people watch television most of the time. And yes, the IT knowledge is still low so we hope to have cybercafes nearby.
Q: What are the main issues here?
A: There are no issues but the villagers want opportunities which can improve their lives. So with the promise of being an anak emas to the Federal Government, it is hoped that this will attract voters to support BN.
Q: What is 1Malaysia to you?
A: It is an excellent concept which will help Malaysians unite and live in harmony, besides creating a competitive community. Each Malaysian needs to play a role to develop the country but at the same time, they should not abandon their rights.
Q: How do you see your relationship with Abe Uji (Pas candidate Mohd Fauzi Abdullah) in the future?
A: I have no problems with Abe Uji, in fact we meet at coffee shops and have a good laugh sometimes. He is a soft-spoken person.

Q: You are perceived to be a quiet person and do not communicate well with people. How do you describe yourself?
A: That is not true because as a politician, I cannot be quiet or things will be tough for me. People will not like me if I were unfriendly. I've been in politics for 30 years and I enjoy helping people.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: I usually play tennis at a club in Kuala Krai with my friends but I have been busy lately. At other times, I take my family sightseeing.
Q: Who is your idol?
A: Of course, Poksu Wel (the late Manik Urai assemblyman Ismail Yaacob). He was loved by the people and I would very much want to follow in his footsteps. We were very close as he was my mentor.
Q: Is it true that Manik Urai folks do not read newspapers? How are you going to educate them, especially on information technology?
A: Yes, many of them do not read because this is an agriculture community. But the younger generation are different. They go to school and they know about IT.
Q: What are the main issues here?
A: The villagers are only worried if the price of rubber goes down. This is what the majority do, they are rubber tappers. So the state government offers tailoring classes, especially for single mothers, to help them find additional income.
Q: What is 1Malaysia to you?
A: Each prime minister has his own concept. Pak Lah (former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi) had his Islam Hadhari and now Najib (Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak) with his 1Malaysia.
Q: How do you see your relationship with Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat (BN candidate) in the future?
A: My relationship with Tuan Aziz will be the same.

English is A Confusing Language

While it pokes fun at English and the English, the poem also captures the frustrations a student faces in the process of learning English as a foreign or second language. If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the folks who grew up speaking English should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? We ship by truck but send cargo by ship. We have noses that run and feet that smell. We park in a driveway and drive in a parkway. And how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and in which an alarm goes off by going on.
