Hobitton- Matamata

Last Saturday I went to Matamata. A place where it is famous for its location scene for Hobitton-LOTR. I paid NZD58 for viewing the scene (it is only a sheep farm) and sheep farm. It hard to say worth it or not. The place is huge but the place for viewing is very small. No wonder some say is not worth it. Whether worth it or not, i still have to go because of the LOTR. However, for my opinion, it's still worth it because this is the only scene where Hobbit is shot and no where else (i think so, hehehehe...). The scenery is beautiful. There's a big tree, small lake, hill, plenty of sheeps (approximately 6,000 sheeps), and many more. The trip is a bit tired but the most tired person is Ah Teh. He gotta drive early in the morning. We only slept for 4 hours. So during the journey it was completely silence. Maybe if there's a mosquito in the car, we can also hear the buzzing. There's nothing much in Matamata. There are only 3 tourist attraction places. The Hobbiton is one of them. Second is wasterfall and a museum. Eventhough it's small town, we had a great day.

1st Day - Night Shift

Today I start work in the night shift. Everything was all right and fine. But i found out that the night shift is very easy to work because the supervisors, themselves are 'nyanyuk'. They don't even borther to care much. What we do is only stand there and close the box. Nothing much to do. Hopefully, can get used to it especially the working hours.

Work at NiGhT ShiFt

Yesterday was my last day in day shift. I will changed to night shift today. My working hours is 6pm ~3.30am on Monday to Friday and 12noon ~ 9-30pm on Sunday. I wonder what is the environment working at night. Probably 'cold' is the word that perfectly described? And now, i was surfing the internet while Guang is lying on the 'bed' cum 'couch'. All of us right now are waiting for a new job in day shift. Hopefully, we can get a day shift job. By the way, the other two monkeys (Teh and Carl) are still sleeping. I think they sleep late at night

In Maketu, Bay of Plenty

We were in Maketu few weeks ago. This place have a lot of pipi (sort like la la). What we need to do is to check the tide. When it reaches low tide, then we can go and pick those pipi. There is so many till you can't even take all. And there is a regulation stated that only 150 pipi/ person. but who cares, we just took all we can and put into plastic bags. Besides, there are 2 dogs which very friendly. I heard from lady, she said the dogs thinks that they own the whole beach. They will just walked around and going near to anyone out there with their waggyling tail. One of dog even hopped into our car and sit. He even 'shake hands' with me. And we noticed that one of the dog only have 3 legs (all the dog pics ) . Brave dog!!! I salutes you... I hope i will also have this kind of spirit within me.150 pipi/ each personWhere's CARL?Super duper short shorts!!!Come on, which direction to look at?Opps, candid camera!!!
