How to control a kid?

Nowadays children are getting more difficult to teach and to guide. What's happening to them? Is it because they are expose to our current environment, perhaps children are too clever or parents are giving them too much of freedom to express their feeling. Do we need to use a rod while teaching them? On my point of view, sometimes to certain extent, when children get to naughty or rebellious, we need to use rod. This is to let them know the consequences of doing a bad action. What do you think?

My car's battery just end it's life. I paid $165 for another one.

I'm listening to chinese gospel songs now. Indeed, i can feel the love from God who want us to receive from Him. Our God teaches us how to live in this world. We live not by bread alone. We needs Words of God to enlighten us. Sometimes we may feel despair, hopeless and no objective in life. But in God, everything is possible. We believed Him who promised to bless us abundance life, a new person, wisdom, knowledge, have a greater heart that contains love. Where to find a God that loves us so much? No where but here. He is Immanuel. He is always with us. I truely believed that God care and love everyone of us here. He can change a very bad person to become better, unright person. Men supposed are to be good, to regain back our relationship with our God. He understand us.. Let us by Faith confess that Jesus is our Lord, our Saviour that died for our sins and shame yet He arose and stand on right handside next to our Father in Heaven. We are cleansed and through Him, we are reborn! Amen

The Return of My Car

Finally, i've got back my car. But i'm not used to it because i've been driving an old car (from car workshop) which i myself scared of driving it. Even my parents were asking why the car is so shaky..

Brideman

Today i just realised that my cousin wedding is on this coming Sunday and I gotta work.. i forget to apply leave... what should i do? Maybe just attend the wedding reception. But my cousin just called me to ask me to be his brideman. Um....dilemma..hahahhaaha

Awake

I am still awake even though it is already 3am. I was just finished reading Galatians. My next chapter will be Ephesians. I hope this will go on and on till I finish one whole book. It has been years for me to finish it. Later today I need to wake up early because need to go to office to finish my personal stuff.

Actually this morning I went to listen to Ps Kong sermon in Skudai Harvest. Ps. Kong is a great man of God. He delivered such a great sermon and I personally think this sermon of his really useful especially for us as a Christian.

‘Loyalty’- Are we a Kisser or a Cleaver?

Do we have loyalty towards church, family, our love one, family members, children, our job and most importantly, our GOD? We are living in such a worldly environment whereby sometimes, when we step out from the church, we are back to our ‘old man’.

I’ve read this in Galatians 5:16-26

16 So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict. 18 But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit, you are no longer subject to the law.

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, 20 idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your own little group, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

22 But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law.

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.

After all these months

I was absent during these few months and it is already December. This is what i've thought earlier. What have i done for this one whole year? Am i leading a meaningful life? Is my life an example to others? Um..indeed it 'may' but not that impact.

From today onwards i really gotta pray more often as there's mystery of praying. I wanna find out and experience the power of prayer...hehe..

Currently, i am working in an English Language Centre in JB, but my English is still poor. Hopefully I could brush up my English.

Tomorrow is already Friday and this coming Monday, i gotta go to KL (Putrajaya). There is one student who needs to apply for student visa. Um...it will be a tiring day.

Anyone who read this, please pray for me so that i will have energy on that day. I will need to drive almost 6 hours (back & forth) .

Um... i wanna go back home now...

H1N1, pandemic or lacks of prevention in Malaysia?

According to WHO, 20%-30% Malaysian will be infected to H1N1. This pandemic will last for a year. I wonder what is our next step to curb this pandemic? As for my concern, when H1N1 starting to spread around the world, 'Malaysian' always have this funny mindset that this pandemic will not spread into Malaysia. And the funniest part is while many countries are taking their prevention to stop this pandemic spreading into their country few months ago, but i hardly see any in Johor Bahru Custom. In Singapore, they checked thoroughly every each person that enter into Singapore. But in Johor Bahru (Malaysia) counterpart, NONE of the checking is done. Are we lacks of medical rep. or we're thinking that once Singapore has done the checking, then it will be fine/safe? Anyway, Singapore is always perceives as the efficient or perhaps 'kisau' mentality. It doesn't matter what mentality they have, as long right now the pandemic is controlled. Hence, in Malaysia, it has become worse. Right now, what 'Malaysian' need is not 'advertising' reflecting/ promoting on our credibility but it is the time for 'Malaysian' to ACT on it. We really have to act fast or else 20%-30% will really be wipe off. Think about of our next kin safety!!! This is the time to show Malaysia REALLY Boleh!

Car's Tyre Punctured

Alamak... an hour ago my car's tyre punctured. My mum was in my car. Luckily, i called my friend and he came with another friend of his to help me to change the tyre. Hehe, my friend also dunno how to change..wuahaha..i know the steps of changing car tyre but i dont have the energy to open the nut. I was jumping and jumping but still couldn't loosen the nut. Anyway, now im safe and sound. huhu....tomorrow gotta go to tyre shop. $$$$ fly away...

SHUHADA ELIS catches up with the two candidates in the by-election to get their take on several issues. TUAN AZIZ TUAN MAT, 39, (Barisan Nasional) Kuala Krai Umno Youth head. 

Q: You have a stern look and are perceived to be arrogant. How would you describe yourself? 

A: I cannot say anything if people judge me by my serious look. But those who know me would know that I am approachable and friendly although I have held a high position before (Kelantan Selatan Development Authority project monitoring division director). In fact, people can approach me anywhere and anytime, there is no protocol. I will answer phone calls even if at midnight. 

Q: What do you do during your free time? 

A: I meet up with my friends or go to places where I can meet people, usually Umno members.

Q: Who is your idol? 

A: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad because I grew up during his tenure as the fourth prime minister. I admire his capability and the development he brought to the country. I have been to a lot of places and the first thing people would mention when they hear about Malaysia is Dr Mahathir. 

Q: Is it true that the Manik Urai folk do not read newspapers? How are you going to educate them, especially on information technology? 

A: This is something that we need to address, especially to the youngsters. We need a personal touch and direct approach when dealing with them, and we cannot be too pushy.

Newspapers are hard to get here so the people watch television most of the time. And yes, the IT knowledge is still low so we hope to have cybercafes nearby. 

Q: What are the main issues here? 

A: There are no issues but the villagers want opportunities which can improve their lives. So with the promise of being an anak emas to the Federal Government, it is hoped that this will attract voters to support BN. 

Q: What is 1Malaysia to you? 

A: It is an excellent concept which will help Malaysians unite and live in harmony, besides creating a competitive community. Each Malaysian needs to play a role to develop the country but at the same time, they should not abandon their rights. 

Q: How do you see your relationship with Abe Uji (Pas candidate Mohd Fauzi Abdullah) in the future? 

A: I have no problems with Abe Uji, in fact we meet at coffee shops and have a good laugh sometimes. He is a soft-spoken person.

A: That is not true because as a politician, I cannot be quiet or things will be tough for me. People will not like me if I were unfriendly. I've been in politics for 30 years and I enjoy helping people. 

Q: What do you do in your free time? 

A: I usually play tennis at a club in Kuala Krai with my friends but I have been busy lately. At other times, I take my family sightseeing. 

Q: Who is your idol? 

A: Of course, Poksu Wel (the late Manik Urai assemblyman Ismail Yaacob). He was loved by the people and I would very much want to follow in his footsteps. We were very close as he was my mentor. 

Q: Is it true that Manik Urai folks do not read newspapers? How are you going to educate them, especially on information technology? 

A: Yes, many of them do not read because this is an agriculture community. But the younger generation are different. They go to school and they know about IT. 

Q: What are the main issues here? 

A: The villagers are only worried if the price of rubber goes down. This is what the majority do, they are rubber tappers. So the state government offers tailoring classes, especially for single mothers, to help them find additional income. 

Q: What is 1Malaysia to you? 

A: Each prime minister has his own concept. Pak Lah (former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi) had his Islam Hadhari and now Najib (Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak) with his 1Malaysia. 

Q: How do you see your relationship with Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat (BN candidate) in the future? 

A: My relationship with Tuan Aziz will be the same.

English is A Confusing Language

Opps, i'm getting bored now. Hopefully i won't turn to KL soon. :) Um.. probably gotta do some social with friends or else, it will be such a boredom staying at home doing nothing- life living in a cell !!! Um..do i wanna accept the offer? At first i wanna pray on my job (career) but instead, it turn to my spiritual prayer. Alamak... Um, in this few months time, i wanna make some changes in my life. Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru indeed is the worst place compare with Kuala Lumpur and Penang. It is a disgrace that most of the johoreans thinks that Johor is great. However, i found out that those who said this statement really haven't been to the other 2 states before. 

REASONS:

1. the roads are in such a bad condition that where ever u drive will bump into holes.

2. drivers do not give vehicle's signal when they wanna do a turn.

3. they park their car where ever they want it.

4. jobs opportunity is so limited. most of the people works in Singapore. Those who work in Singapore factory earn a salary approximately of MYR 2000, equivalent to an executive position in Johor Bahru (provided you can find an administration job in Johor Bahru).

5. Crime rate no 1. 

6.  Hardly see any police car patrolling around neighbourhood

7. no shopping malls except plenty of hypermarkets (i wonder jaya jusco is considering as shopping mall?)

8. johor bahru is flooded with immigrants from indonesia, bangladesh and etc.

9. i dunno how to describe anymore...

I really hope that someone will tackle these issue as Iskandar projects is booming up. I am wondering what is th criteria/ factors that investor are considering before venture into Johor Bahru? Hopefully Johor Bahru will turn into a better place for all of us here in JOHOR.

 

Forgot to attend an interview

Alamak, i forgot to attend an interview on last Saturday. I just realised a second ago. They contact me thru e-mail and i did replied too. Yet i've FORGOT...so one chance 'hilang'. 

Lim 'Hoong Foong'- Birthday

Apa maslah kamu, Lim Hoong Fong? hahaha... I bet only some of our close friends from SDJ will know this statement...hahaha..Well, today i went for my buddy's birthday with his family members. It was also a gathering with my other 4 buddies (FH, Nick, Cheng and Mak). At first everyone were so quiet till when his parents 'ciao'..hahaha.. I wanna reload some of the video but i just realised that  i couldn't because i don't have any bluetooth device. Haiz, what a waste..keke...
